Learning Administrative Resource Handbook
Introduction
This Learning Administrative Resource Handbook has been revised in an attempt to house in one document many of the regulations and procedures that govern the day-to-day operations of instructional divisions.
Except in a few cases, the Handbook does not duplicate the College’s Policies and Procedures Manual. Instead, it includes practices and procedures that have been developed over the years, some of which had not been put in written form. Where appropriate, it references the CPCC Policies and Procedures Manual, websites, or other documents for more complete information. In order words, the Handbook either gives the most current information or tells you where it can be found.
The Handbook is written for program chairs, discipline chairs, program coordinators, and office assistants as well as for directors, division directors, deans and associate deans. We hope that all who may be involved in the administration of instructional business will find the handbook useful.
The Handbook is organized into six sections, although some material could easily fit into more than one section.
The online version of the Handbook will be updated on a regular basis.
