
Windows Mobile 2003 SE | Mobile Synchronization Setup
To setup your device to synchronize with CPCC's email system on your Windows Mobile device please follow the steps outlined below:
| Step 1) Installing Activesync on the Windows Mobile device |

- Select Start
- Select ActiveSync
|

|
- Select the Server tab
- Within the Server Name field enter mobile.cpcc.edu
|

|
- Check the available options of Calendar, Contacts, & Inbox listed.
|

|
- To configure properties of the Calendar and Inbox items, select each of them individually and and click on Settings.
- Select Calendar from within the
Sync these items section
|

|
- Within Calendar Server Sync Options
select 2 Weeks
|

|
- Select OK in the upper right-hand
corner
|

|
- Select Inbox from within the Sync
these items section
|

|
- Select 2 Weeks for amount of messages to download
- Check the box for Include File Attachments
- Check the box for Only if smaller than and enter
500 within the KB field.
|

- Select OK in the upper right-hand
corner
|

|
- Under the Server tab, select the Options
button
|

|
- On the Connection tab, enter your user name, password, and domain name. Your username is the same as for your desktop computer and email access.
- Enter cpcc.edu within the Domain field.
- Verify that the "Save Password" checkbox is checked.

- Select OK in the upper right-hand
corner
|

|
- Select the Mobile Schedule tab within the main
ActiveSync screen
|

|
- Under Peak Times select every 60 minutes
|

|
- Under Off-Peak Times select every 60 minutes
|

|
- Under Roaming, select Use Mobile Schedule
- Verify that Sync outgoing items as they are sent is
checked
|

|
- Select the Peak Times button and verify that the
current hours are satisfactory for your schedule.
|

- The default times are 8:00 AM - 6:00 PM
|

- Select OK in the upper right-hand
corner
