Improper installation of memory can damage your computer. When you receive your memory upgrade, contact the ITS Help Desk to dispatch a technician to install it for you. 

Note: Memory beyond current standards must be purchased from departmental budgets.

RAM.jpgThe standard college workstation configuration has 2GB RAM. To purchase additional memory, ITS recommends Crucial Technology memory.

Visit Crucial Technology to search/lookup memory compatible with your workstation(s) and to place your order online. 

When searching for compatible memory, you will be prompted for information including product line (the college is currently standardized on OptiPlex desktops and Latitude laptops) and specific model of the computer you wish to upgrade. For assistance with determining this information, contact the ITS Help Desk.
