She is part of the NASA Twitter press corps, is a Charlotte Viewpoint opinion columnist and Social Media Charlotte board member. Kimberly Meesters, NASCAR Hall of Fame - @Kmeesters Kimberly Meesters is responsible for development and implementation of external relations strategies for the NASCAR Hall of Fame. Her department manages communications, media relations, education initiatives and public and community relations. Meesters brings a unique perspective of auto racing with more than a decade of experience in various facets of the motorsports industry, including track, sanctioning body, team and sponsor roles. She joined the NASCAR Hall of Fame from Sprint where she led marketing communications for the Fortune 100 company's title sponsorship of the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series. Her resume also includes media relations roles at Las Vegas Motor Speedway, the Indy Racing League and Orleans Racing. In addition to her professional work in the sport, Meesters has a lifetime of auto racing involvement stemming from her family's grassroots motorsports business in Texas. She holds a Bachelor of Science in journalism from Texas A&M University and a Master of Arts in communications studies from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Meesters resides in Mooresville, N.C. with her husband, Scott, and daughter, Maclaren. Genevieve Jooste, Allen Tate Company - @GenevieveJooste Genevieve Jooste joined the Allen Tate Company in 2010 as the Social Media Coordinator responsible for managing and maintaining the company's presence on its various online platforms including Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn and the official company blog, "At Home in the Carolinas." In addition to aligning the company's marketing objectives with its social media marketing objectives, Genevieve is responsible for educating the more than 1,400 agents at the Allen Tate Company. Prior to joining the Allen Tate Company, Genevieve worked for Luquire George Andrews in their public relations department. Before relocating to Charlotte, NC, Genevieve lived in New York City where she spent two years working in public relations. Her experience includes work in the healthcare, lifestyle and health and wellness industries. She is also currently a board member of Social Media Charlotte responsible for organizing the Social Media Charlotte Breakfast series.
