MAY 2014

Edcamp Charlotte 2014

May 19th    8:30AM - 4PM
Elizabeth Classroom Building 1106, Central Campus, CPCC

Join us for the annual 'unconference' on education. We look forward to seeing everyone from previous years, and we hope to see some new faces as well. Here is how it works: All the attendees meet in the morning and anyone who wants to host a session has 40 seconds to pitch their idea. Then we all vote and the most popular pitches are selected. Anyone is invited to this FREE EVENT. We will have a morning pitch session and another after lunch. CPCC faculty and staff can register in Learner Web for professional development credit.

APRIL 2014

The 2014 Campus Tour is Coming!

LTS is excited to offer two professional development opportunities around learning technology. We hope that you can attend one, or better yet both! We will also be on hand before, after and between these two sessions for informal conversations about learning technology and how we can work together. Be sure to sign up for each session individually in LearnerWeb.

iPad Users Group

Session I: 1-2:30pm
JOIN THE IPAD USERS GROUP! We will talk about how iPad apps can create new ways to expand
their use for enhancing learning.  Meet other users and share our campus collective experiences.

State of Learning Technology

Session II:  3-4:30pm
This is a very dynamic field with new ideas and applications happening all the time.  This session
will serve as a primer and update on what is happening, especially in areas such as adaptive learning,
analytics, and digital content. We will also have some updates specific to services here at CPCC.
