So you want to Test Out of CIS 110 (Introduction to Computers)…Let us help you.

The CPCC IT department is offering both Fast Track and Testout options so that YOU may fulfill your CIS 110 requirement. Here are some frequently asked questions:

What is the difference between Fast Track and Testout?

CIS 110 Testout is a two-hour online test which will be proctored on campus. We currently are offering six different sections through the remainder of 2012 and into Spring 2013. These tests are conveniently located at Central Campus.

CIS 110 Fast Track is an accelerated CIS 110 course held online over a 4-week span. We currently are offering 4 sessions. At the end of the class a comprehensive exam will be given online from the comfort of your home.

Are there any prerequisites?

No.

How much does it cost?

These classes will be offered through our Corporate and Continuing Education (CCE) division. Therefore, financial aid will NOT be accepted. CIS 110 Fast Track costs $250 and CIS 110 Test out costs $99.

Will this satisfy CIS 110 required for my degree program?

Yes.

Classes are offered throughout the Fall 2012 and Spring 2013 semester. Here are the sections:

*For CIS 110 Testout the labs will be open from 9:00am-12:00pm. You are to come in at any point during those hours to complete the test; just be sure to allot yourself a two-hour span.
