.(dot) NET Software Development
The Computer Technology Integration (CTI) degree combined with special skills attained through the D25500-D5 diploma prepares individuals for employment as computer programmers and related positions through study and applications in computer concepts, logic, programming procedures, languages, generators, operating systems, networking, data management and business operations.
Students solve business computer problems through programming techniques and procedures, using appropriate languages and software. The primary emphasis of the curriculum is hands-on training in .NET programming and related computer areas that provide the ability to adapt as systems evolve.
Graduates may qualify for employment in business, industry and government organizations as system programmers, application programmers, programmer trainees, programmer/analysts, computer operators or systems technicians.
Rapidly changing technology requires an increasing level of skill and education on the part of employees.
Companies look for professionals with an ever-broader background and range of skills, including not only technical knowledge, but also communication and other interpersonal skills. Programming students enhance their employment opportunities by broadening their background and experience and by participating in co-op or internship programs.
