Q: How do I find my GPA?
A:  You can view your GPA online via MyCollege  using your user ID and password (CPCC login).  From the Academic profile menu, select "Grade Point Average by Term".
 
Q: How do I view my status?
A: To view your status log into MyCollege using your user ID and passowrd (CPCC login).  Select "Students"  and from the Academic profile menu select "My profile".  Look for "Standards of Academic Progress" and directly underneath you will see your academic status.
 
Q: What if the GPA in my major is above a 2.0 but my overall GPA is below a 2.0?
A: Term GPA is used to determine if a student is successfully meeting the standards of progress.
 
Q: What resources are available to me at CPCC to help get my GPA up?

Q: What if I am not enrolled in a program of study, do these standards still apply?
A: Standards apply only to students who are enrolled in a certificate, diploma or degree program.

Q: How do I know who my Faculty Advisor is?
A: Come by or call the Student Success Center and we can assist you or from the CPCC
homepage, log into MyCollege using your user ID and password (CPCC login). From the Academic Profile menu, select “My Profile”. Your Faculty Advisor’s name and email address will appear near the end of your profile

Q: If I am on Academic Suspension why do I need to see a Student Counselor instead of my Faculty Advisor?
A: Student Counselors are trained to provide in-depth assistance and counseling as needed. We want to make sure each student has the optimal opportunity for success.

Q: Do I have to wait until registration nears to see my Faculty Advisor or Student Counselor?
A: Advisors and Counselors are available to assist during the entire semester. Students are encouraged to make contact before registration begins.
