![]() | Pamela Roberts, CEC, CCE joined the faculty in 2007. A culinary graduate of The Art Institute in Ft. Lauderdale and the University of Miami, Chef Roberts has taught Culinary Arts for five years in Georgia. Before joining the CPCC team, Pamela mastered both front-of-house and back-of-house management in varied positions, including Chef De Cuisine, Executive Chef, Restaurant Manager, Food & Beverage Director and owner. Chef Roberts is a member of the American Culinary Federation (ACF) and served as president of the Mountain Gateway chapter. Other volunteer work includes the Make-A-Wish foundation, Share Our Strength (SOS) and Habitat for Humanity. She received numerous Silver and Gold Medals in ACF competitions, was named Top 10 in Florida by Zagat Guide, was awarded “Four Star Cuisine” by the Palm Beach Post, and participated in the 2002 TEAM USA tryouts for the ACF Olympic Team. Originally from the western NC town of Hayesville in Clay County, Pamela attended high school in Japan. She now lives in the Charlotte area. |
