Health Information Technology/HIT is growing quickly, and so can you!

Interested persons currently working in the HIT field may register for the certificate courses. It is not necessary to apply to the Health Information Technology Associate's Degree Program. Simply complete the online application form for the college if it is your first time taking classes at CPCC, and you will be given permission to register for classes.

•    This certificate is designed to prepare professionals for the Health IT EHR (Electronic Health Record) workflow and design.
•    Coursework includes fundamentals of healthcare, EHRs, health care informatics and project management.
•    Workers in this role assist in reorganizing the work of a healthcare provider to take full advantage of the features of health IT in pursuit of meaningful use of health IT to improve health and care.
•    This certificate is not grant funded, so regular CPCC curriculum tuition and fees will apply. Financial aid may be available. More information can be found at CPCC's Financial Aid website.

For any previously completed courses in this sequence, they must have been completed within five years with a grade of C or better.
