Work-Based Learning

Both Developmental Disabilities Associate's Degree and C3 Certificate students are required to complete an internship (WBL). For the Associate's Degree students, this is typically done within the student's last two semesters in the Developmental Disabilities program.

Once all minimum eligibility requirements have been met, the student must take the following actions:

    • Secure an Internship Site
      • The Program Chair will provide eligible students with a list of possible sites.
      • Students will be responsible for contacting sites and setting up interviews. Please note: A minimum of two interviews with different organizations is required.

      • Complete WBL Paperwork

        • Register for the WBL Course
          • Registration will take place during regular registration for the fall and spring semesters.

For any further questions, please contact the Developmental Disabilities faculty.
