An EKG Technician is a medical professional who perform various clerical procedures such as telephone techniques, physician order interpretation, and maintenance of the patient’s chart, scheduling appointments, and requesting supplies and/or equipment.

The CPCC EKG Technician program is recognized by local employers. Upon completion, students will be eligible to sit for the CET (Certified EKG Technician) examination through the National Health Career Association (www.nhanow.com). This program may be completed in one semester.
