Curriculum Certificates
For Students Seeking A Certificate
Students who wish to receive a curriculum-based Certificate in GIS may do so by way of on-campus classes or via the internet (the classes are the same and students can choose to take classes in either or both approaches). Either way, there is scholarship money available to students who enroll in the Geographic Information System/Global Positioning System Technology program at CPCC. The following certificates are available:
Additionally, after completion of the Certificate in Geographic Information Science, if you choose two of the level 200 courses listed in the Technical Electives section of the catalog and those two courses are not within a track identified above, you will qualify for:
C40220-C2 – Advanced Certificate in Geographic Information Science
