To get started, please follow these enrollment steps.

Complete Application

You will create a username and password to complete your CPCC login. You will use your assigned Student ID# to create your username and password. Your ID# will be emailed to the email address you provided in your admissions application. Expect an initial delay of two hours before you can login to most online systems. Create CPCC Login

Applying here will start the process of receiving VA Educational Benefits, and allow you to compare benefit chapters if eligible for more than one, explain payouts, and walk you through setting up direct deposit. Contact the VA Call Center at 888-442-4551 if you need help or have questions.

Apply for Benefits

Orientation is 90-min session that introduces you to CPCC and its many programs and services. At Orientation, you will sing up for an Advising session. Contact First Year Experience at 704.330.6100 or via email at fye@cpcc.edu if you need help or have questions.

CPCC's Center for Military Family and Veterans(CMFV) provides opportunities for veterans to engage in services promoting their personal and professional development, including a social lounge, study lab, personal, academic and career counseling. CPCC provides an official student email account to every student. This CPCC Google email is our official means of communicating with students and is used by Financial Aid, the Cashiering Office, instructors, advisors, for campus alerts and much more. Login to Student Email

This is the website from which you will print the forms that you are required to turn in to your VA Certifying Official (separate from the CMFV) in order to be certified for your VA Educational Benefit based on your certificate of eligibility. Complete the first four forms under your program or chapter, and read the other information carefully. Contact Veterans Affairs in person on any campus, or by calling 704.330.6267 if you need help or have questions. You can also sign up for a Financial Aid/VA workshop.

We recommend that all students apply for financial aid. To begin the process, you should complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid. Please visit the CPCC Financial Aid website for additional information about the various types of student aid. Fill out the FAFSA

Submit official high school diploma or GED, and any college transcripts to CPCC's Student Records. More information is available on the Student Records site. Submit Transcripts

Placement tests are now mandatory, unless you qualify for a placement testing waiver. Review thoroughly before testing: students who place below college-level classes are required to take developmental reading, English and math classes that do not count toward a degree. Take the ACCUPLACER

You will sign up for Advising at Orientation. During Advising, an academic advisor will review your placement test scores and/or college transcripts, program of interest and suggest courses for the upcoming term. Sessions are offered at all campuses throughout the year. Contact First Year Advising at 704.330.6454 if you need help or have questions.

You will learn how to register for your classes during Orientation. You are responsible for verifying your Financial Aid award or paying for your classes by the payment due date. Tuition is charged based on state residence, so check your residency status before registering. For residency questions, please contact a Registrar at any campus or by calling 704.330.6006.
