From the President ...

Central Piedmont Community College extends educational and training opportunities to more than 70,000 individuals each year. The demand for the services provided by the College continues to grow each year. Through the CPCC Foundation, the College receives much-needed dollars for scholarships for students with financial need and support for instructional programs and faculty; unrestricted support is also provided to allow the College to respond to emerging needs and priorities. Please know that gifts to the CPCC Foundation are much appreciated. These gifts help make the College a leader among the nation's community colleges in workforce development and in preparation for additional study at a four-year college or university.

From the President of the Foundation Board of Directors...

It is my great pleasure to serve as president of the CPCC Foundation's Board of Directors. Every year, the Foundation is asked to respond to ever growing needs for educational and job-training programs for the citizens of the region. Because of the support of individuals, businesses, and foundations, the Foundation is able to provide funds for scholarships, to assist in pilot important new academic programs, to enable faculty and staff professional development, and to address numerous other priorities of the College. Such support provides that added measure which makes CPCC distinctive among community colleges.

To assure the continued success of CPCC and to assure that all financially-needy students will receive the required scholarship aid, the Foundation has embarked on a $15 million campaign-Creating Opportunities. We are confident that we meet this ambitious goal. Many thanks to the many supporters of CPCC.
