 Joe Vagnone
 1987 AS Degree, Hotel and Restaurant Management

Joe credits the reputation of the Hotel and Restaurant Management program and the support of the instructors at Central Piedmont Community College for sparking his entrepreneurial spirit and passion in the industry.

While in school at CPCC, Joe was active in the College’s Hotel and Restaurant Management Association. Through this experience, Joe was exposed to the many facets of the industry and the varied opportunities of the industry.

After graduating, Joe became the successful owner and operator of a number of franchises and restaurants in the Charlotte area. As the owner of franchises, Joe learned that his true talent and gift was helping others buy and sell businesses. His education at CPCC helped prepare Joe for this business opportunity.

Today, Joe is a successful business broker who still holds the passion for the Hotel and Restaurant Management industry. When asked about success, Joe stated, “Success is being happy and content with what you are doing.”
