The 2010 CPCC Family Campaign is a college-wide effort to support institutional priorities. As members of the CPCC family, you know how important you are to the students and to the College, especially now with serious budget cuts and enrollment rising dramatically. Your dedicated work as faculty and staff shape the lives of students, ensure the vitality of the College and strengthen our community.
CPCC is known for the high quality of its programs and committed, caring employees. Giving to the Family Campaign further demonstrates your belief in our mission in a tangible way. Your support sends an important message to the wider community and prospective donors regarding the College’s internal vitality and strength. Every contribution is very important. Every gift helps students succeed and the College thrive!
Thank you for considering a gift to the annual Family Campaign. Should you have any questions, please contact the CPCC Foundation at 704.330.6869 or your Campus Captain listed below.

On-line and mail-in pledge forms allow you to designate your gifts to support your priorities if you choose. All gifts that do not have a specific designation are gratefully used to provide unrestricted support for the College and used where needed most throughout the year.
Gifts can be designated as:
- Unrestricted Support: to enable the College to respond to emerging needs and address priorities.
- Student Scholarships: to provide needy students the opportunity for a better life.
- Faculty-Staff Development: to provide additional support to help employees stay at the leading edge of their field.
- Campus Funds: to benefit a particular campus at the discretion of the Campus Dean and Vice President for Instruction.
- Program Funds: to support particular programs at the discretion of the Program Chair with the approval of the Campus Dean and Vice President for Instruction.
Two awards are presented at the president’s annual Fall Forum, the Campus Percentage Participation Award and the Campus Giving Award. The Participation Award is given to the campus which has the highest percentage of its employees participating in the Family Campaign. The Campus Giving Award goes to the Campus that provides the most support for the Campaign.
All donors receive a campaign bracelet when their gift is received. A representative of the Foundation randomly visits all campuses throughout the campaign and awards prizes to donors seen wearing their bracelet. In 2009, many lucky donors received gift certificates, coffee warmers, thermal cups and bottles, notebooks, and iPods.
The Family Campaign provides a great opportunity to make a gift in honor or in memory of others. If requested, a notice of your gift is sent to the honoree or family members of your choice. You may also choose to designate your gift to an existing scholarship fund established by, in honor of, or in memory of CPCC employees or family members. If you choose this option, please include the name of the fund on the pledge form at “The existing ______________ Fund.”
