Interlibrary Loan: Request a Journal Article
Interlibrary Services are provided for CPCC students, faculty, and staff only.
To request materials not in the CPCC Libraries' collections, please furnish all of the requested information in the following form. The Interlibrary Services Office will process up to six (6) requests per day from a qualified requester. If more than six requests are needed, the requester is asked to prioritize requests.
CPCC Libraries do not charge for the interlibrary loan service. However, there may be a fee charged by the lending library. You must indicate on the form the maximum cost you are willing to pay. We will make every effort to borrow items for free.
Please note that items requested through Interlibrary Loan may take 2-3 weeks to arrive, if sent by US Mail or other carrier.
Many periodical articles are available online through our participation in the NCLive service. Please check there and other resources before submitting a request. We do not borrow an item from another library if CPCC already owns the item, nor do we borrow from Public Library of Charlotte and Mecklenburg County.
If you need assistance with locating materials in the CPCC libraries, please visit the Reference Desk on the first floor of the Central Campus library, or the service desks at one of the other campus libraries.
