Citing Information
There are a number of ways to cite information
sources, but there are two styles that are most used in academics:
APA and MLA.

APA Style refers to the citation format
established by the American Psychological Association. APA is the
format preferred by most of the disciplines in the
social sciences.
MLA
Style refers to the citation format established by the Modern
Language Association. MLA is the format preferred by most of the
disciplines in the humanities.
However, wading through the manual trying to
find how to cite an article can be tedious. The CPCC Library
has chosen some citation websites that tell you exactly what you
need to know. You can find these links from our homepage:

Any one of these online resources can help
with citing your research, especially the 2nd entry from Duke
