Groups we're working with and events we arrange or cosponsor
In collaboration with the CPCC Professional Development Group, the Futures Institute will continue to present, co-sponsor, and support a series of speakers, seminars, workshops, and conferences, some of which will be provided to all faculty and staff as professional development. Some of these speakers, however, will also be made available to the public for a fee. These will be run through a Services Corporation non-profit entity in an attempt to generate an income stream to help support further professional development and Speaker Series efforts.
Additionally, we cosponsor various monthly and quarterly User Group meetings in our facilities - which offer comfortable seating, modern computers and projectors, and advanced smart classroom features. These groups include:
