"A Conversation with Richard Louv"
Richard Louv is a futurist, child-advocate and jouralist, and the author of Last Child in the Woods: Saving Our Children from Nature-Deficit Disorder (Algonquin). In this latest of his seven books, he presents both cutting-edge research and anecdotal evidence showing the link between nature-deprivation and the rising frequency of obesity, depression, and attention disorders in our society. Samuel Osherson, PH.D., author of Finding Our Fathers, calls it “an eloquent, urgent, and timely book [that] presents important ideas and remedies for parents, schools and communities.”
