Winter Dreams

CPCC Dance Theatre will present the concert series Winter Dreams in Pease Auditorium December 6 and 7 at 8 p.m. and December 8 at 2:30 pm. On the program are two winter – themed ballets: Sir Frederick Ashton’s Les Patineurs which depicts a charming Victorian skating party complete with merriment, mishaps and mayhem; culminating into one of the world’s most beloved classics. Katharyn Horne will stage Les Patineurs as well as her own choreography for “Snow” from Tchaikovsky’s The Nutcracker where every child and child at heart will be flown through the most magical and wondrous of snowfalls! New faculty member Melissa Pihos will premiere her first work for CPCC Dance Theatre: Encircled – the first jazz dance composition the company has performed in more than ten years! Tickets are $10 general admission and $5 for students with ID. Tickets may be purchased in advance online, at CPCC’s main box office or directly before the performances in Pease Auditorium box office.
