Global Day of Jewish Learning

Sunday, November 11th - 9am to 2pm - Jewish Community Center - Charlotte, NC

For one day, communities around the world will share Jewish dialogue and exploration. Event is free and open to the public.  Details can be found on the Jewish Community Center website.

International Education Week

International Education Week at CPCC is filled with an array of events and activities for both students and staff to celebrate and promote the benefits of international education and worldwide exchange!

International Teas and Tastes - Monday, November 12th - 9am to 11am

(Central Campus - Worrell Building, Levine Campus and Cato Campus)

  • Stop by to taste the different teas and pastries from around the world. Mingle with students and learn the significance of International Education Week.

International Student Panel - Tuesday, November 13th - 11am to noon - Tate Hall, Central Campus

  • CPCC Students will share their experiences with immigrating to the U.S.A. Hear testimonials from 5 different perspectives regarding the status, expectations and culture shock of moving from another country.

Culture and Diversity in Africa - Wednesday, November 14th - 2pm to 3pm - Zeiss 1100, Central Campus

  • The African Student Association will host an interactive and engaging on a wide range of issues that affect the global and local communities.

WorldQuest - International Knowledge Competition - Wednesday, November 14th - 6pm to 9pm - Hilton Charlotte

  • The World Affairs Council of Charlotte will host WorldQuest, one of the largest international knowledge competitions in NC. A team of CPCC students and faculty will answer questions related to current events, geography and foreign policy.

Study Abroad Showcase -Thursday, November 15th - 1pm to 2pm - Tate Hall, Central Campus

  • Come hear from students about their study abroad experiences. Learn about the impact, the process and how you can get involved

World Cup Soccer - Friday, November 16th - noon to 2pm - Worrell Gyn

  • Come enjoy an afternoon of playing soccer with CPCC Students!

Country, Culture and Cuisine - Friday, November 16th - noon to 2pm - Hall Building, Room 304

  • Join the Global Student Association as we celebrate our unique cultures and heritage with food and fellowship!

Global Student Association - Student Club

General Meeting - Wednesday, December 5th at 2:30pm - Taylor/Worrell 1152

Join our Global Student Association student club to learn about different cultures and participate in multi-cultural events. This student organization is great for international students and students who have an interest in study abroad. It is a great way to connect and create a sense of unity for global learning.  If you are interested in being a part of this student club, please complete the GSA Registration Form!
