First Year Faculty Experience: Session Dates

To maintain SACS compliance, all new, full-time faculty employees are required to complete a year-long Full-time (FT) Faculty Development program. If you are a new FT Faculty employee, it is your responsibility to go to LearnerWeb, select Learning Track under My Menu, and enroll for each individual course under the First Year Faculty Experience learning track.

The First Year Faculty Experience learning track, is a blended program consisting of in-class face-to-face and online courses where FT faculty can explore the practical, pedagogical, and philosophical aspects of being a new FT faculty member at CPCC. FT faculty who complete the track receive 30 hours of Professional Development credit.

For faculty who teach online, there are additional training requirements supported through the department of eLearning.  Your Division/Discipline Director or Program/Discipline Chair will notify you about meeting this obligation.
