Part-time Faculty Required Training

FacultyPTbanner2In accordance with College Policy 4.29 II C.
All new employees will complete the required training for all college employees within 30 days of their hiring date.  Simply click a title to auto register and instantly launch a course, or visit Learner Web Employee Online Learning catalog and launch an online course. CPCC log-in authentication is required.

Tips for Viewing:
1. Run the Web Browser Test to make sure your browser is configured to run online training.
2. Use Google Chrome or Mozilla Firefox if you experience issues viewing the training in Internet Explorer.
3. Ensure your flash player is updated to the most current version.
4. Ensure your browser zoom level is set to 100% (typically Ctrl+0 will reset it to 100%).
5. Click a title to auto register and instantly launch a course, or visit Learner Web Employee Online Learning catalog and launch an online course. Upon successfully passing a course assessment, employee status will appear as Finished-Passed.

Required Training:

1. Traditional (TR) Attendance Recording (online - expires every 2 year) and Non-Traditional (IN & HY) Attendance Recording. These course's are a  requirement at CPCC to record students attendance properly in a way that complies with federal, state, and institutional regulations regarding attendance documentation. 
2. Title IX - (no audio)
3. Information Security (available August 1)
4. Safety and Emergency Procedures (available August 1)
5. QEP-STAR: Lighting the Path to Success   This course introduces faculty to the college’s early alert program called STAR: Success Through Academic Reporting. It provides an overview of the student success initiative,  instruction on how to submit progress reports, and discusses additional resources that struggling students may find helpful.
