Register for a graphic arts and imaging technology information session.

Do you enjoy drawing and enjoy hands on learning? Are you interested in seeing your art come to life in product design? Learn more about print production in the graphic arts and imaging technology program at one of our information sessions. Printing is America's third largest manufacturing industry, employing 1.1 million people nationwide and with an annual sales of over $640 billion. The printing industry is active locally, with North and South Carolina employing 12,357 and reaching annual sales of $2.2 billion.

The Central Piedmont graphic arts and imaging technology program will prepare you for a career in print production called flexography, which is the main method for printing product labels and packages. You will also learn about screen printing and anti-counterfeiting measures using the latest technology. Most courses also include custom printing of your personalized designed art. The program will prepare you for a career in subsector print products, such as T-shirts, books, product labels and packaging, magazine covers, brochures, business cards, signage, and promotional materials. Performed support activities include data imaging and design, platemaking services, technical assistance and troubleshooting, as well as supportive roles such as sales and marketing.
