Distance Learning
The ESL Distance Learning Program offers two different options for students who cannot attend traditional classes or who choose to study English independently.
ESL Online
This English as a Second Language course is offered fully over the internet. Students register for the course, attend a 3-hour orientation, and briefly meet with the teacher each week to pick up viewing material. For more information call (704)330-4813 or (704)330-4861 . Pre-requisite: Computer Skills Performance Assessment
ESL online is offered during Fall 2009. Please call (704) 330-4861 for more information.
Crossroads Cafe
Students receive study materials to help them to study at their own pace; students check out material from the library. A teacher meets students once a week to answer any questions and to assist the students with their lessons.
