Although all students may not be able to meet the English language requirements of a Career Ladders certificate program per se, we offer a variety of courses to prepare non-native English speaking students for further training and job success.

The content of the preparation courses is designed to familiarize students with key topics, vocabulary, language and communicational tasks in the certicate courses. Students are tested to determine readiness for certificate courses the last week of class.

The preparation courses currently offered by Career Ladders are:

• English for Finance Careers (LEP class)
• Work Skills and Careers (LEP class)
• Pre-technical (LEP class)
• English for Technical Careers (LEP class)
