Student Health Insurance

Central Piedmont Community College has worked with Community College Student Insurance (CCSI) for more than 15 years in order to provide an affordable volunteer health insurance program for students and their families.  CCSI is a subsidiary of Open Asset Management Co., a member of FINRA, and DBE, HUB Certified by the Department of Transportation and the State of North Carolina HUB Office. CCSI is responsible for enrollment, eligibility verification, and premium collection for the plan.

Insurance Program

ACA Open Enrollment for 2018 Health Insurance Marketplace is from November 1, 2017 to January 31, 2018. We will help you apply for premium tax credits if you are eligible.

Short Term Medical

Short term medical plan designed for individuals who do not currently have health insurance, are seeking alternative health insurance coverage for the short term or low deductible (co-pay) alternative plans. CCSI is working with United Healthcare for the short term medical insurance. Please see the Short Term Medical Plans brochure provided by United Healthcare.
