Emergency Management

Emergency Management is the managerial function charged with creating the framework within which the College:

  • Reduces its vulnerability to hazards;
  • Copes with disasters;
  • Protects the College/community by coordinating and integrating all activities necessary to build, sustain, and improve the capability to mitigate against, prepare for, respond to, and recover from threatened or actual natural disasters, acts of terrorism, or other man-made disasters.

Call College Security/Police Services at 704-330-6911 or  6911 from campus phone if you need assistance with any safety or security matters, apparent crimes, first aid or medical emergencies. We encourage you to report any crime, regardless of how insignificant it may seem. Call non-emergency 6632 from any on-campus telephone, and on Central Campus at the red or yellow security telephones.
