Alternative Energy
Alternative Energy is the generation of energy by a means that does not use fossil fuels or nuclear generation and therefore does not release pollutants into the environment or create difficulties related to nuclear waste disposal. Alternative Energy generation comes from renewable sources like Solar, Hydro, Geothermal, Wind, Bioenergy, Hydrogen and Tidal. As the world begins to embrace different forms of Alternative Energy generation, many new jobs will be needed to support this movement.
Over the coming years many people will need to be trained for new jobs with titles such as Electro-Mechanical Wind Turbine Technician, Battery Manufacturing Technician, Environmental Specialist, and Renewable Energy Technician, just to name a few.
