CPCC now offers the EMT Experience Course that will give the new EMT experience working in the pre-hospital environment with local EMS Providers.

This course allows currently credentialed EMT's to complete a field internship with local EMS providers and will provide the student with opportunities to interact with live patients in a controlled environment under the guidance of Paramedic Field Training Officers.

  • This program is a prerequisite for The CPCC Paramedic Program for students with no previous field experience
  • The student must attend a mandatory classroom training session in advance of the clinical ride time.
  • The student will ride along with training staff of the local provider for a total of  a minimum of 50 patient contacts and will be expected to document patient contact and treatment information into Black Board.
  • The student must have a current North Carolina or National Registry EMT Certification.

Dates: Fall 2017 - This is a new date range (effective 9/7/17

Our next session will begin on Tuestday, October 10, 2017 during the Fall session.

Mandatory class meeting on Tuesday October 10, 2017 at 6:00pm, Merancas Campus (Huntersville) in room, CJ119
