EMT Basic Certification Course
This course is 200 hours in length and provides the foundation for the student to function as an EMT with a Prehospital Emergency Medical Service provider. This class is also a requirement for anyone wanting to enter an EMT-Paramedic program The class combines lecture with skills demonstration and practice. Successful completion of the course requires passing a written final examination and a scenario based practical examination. AHA CPR certification is included with the course. A rotation at CMC's ED and field ride time give the student a glimpse into the world of Prehospital Emergency Care.
