College Security/Police Services
The College Security/Police Services associates are here to help you. No matter what kind of situation arises at the College, CPCC’s 24-hour Central Dispatch Station on Central Campus is the first step toward resolving problems. As soon as you dial for assistance, a radio call will go out to the nearest security officer. And if additional help is needed — first aid, fire protection, city police — that extra help can also be immediately dispatched by radio.
Emergency management is the managerial function charged with creating the framework within which the College:
- Reduces its vulnerability to hazards;
- Copes with disasters;
- Protects the College/community by coordinating and integrating all activities necessary to build, sustain, and improve the capability to mitigate against, prepare for, respond to, and recover from threatened or actual natural disasters, acts of terrorism, or other man-made disasters.
