About the eLearning Seminar

During the eLearning Seminar, faculty representing different divisions of CPCC attend. Attendees are provided with resources and then trained to use them for producing innovative instructional content and electronic media. The desire is to elevate eLearning courses from two-dimensional text-based web spaces to interactive multi-dimensional environments. To ensure continuation of the production of innovative content, instructors are provided with the necessary resources to develop multimedia learning elements. One resource is covered each day and at least one media element is integrated in each participating online course. The skills gained at the eLearning Seminar will benefit students by encouraging active learning and addressing the needs of students with a variety of learning styles.
