Tom Conroy

Tom Conroy is a businessman and entrepreneur who uses over 30 years’ corporate experience to help clients as an advisor and mentor. Because he has worked with US and international companies in positions ranging from customer service to direct sales, sales management to operations management, and corporate officer to business owner he is well suited to almost any situation. Conroy combines this experience with his engineering background and MBA in his entrepreneurial activities operating a specialty chemical company and a business advisory practice to help companies reach their maximum profit potential.

Tom places emphasis on strategic planning, profit maximization, gap analysis and exit planning. He also works with startup companies planning their business to identify and optimize opportunities, control costs and fast track entrance into the market.

As lead Small Business Counselor for the Institute for Entrepreneurship with the Small Business Center at Central Piedmont Community College Tom has coached and mentored hundreds of business owners. He is actively involved in community initiatives helping businesses get started and prosper such as:  Charlotte Chamber's Innovation and Entrepreneurship Rising from the Ashes: How Innovation Can Lead to Opportunity in Today's Economy, Five Ventures® Business Competition winning entry mentor.
