Personal Attendant Care in the classroom

Under Section 504 the Rehabilitation Act and the American with Disabilities Act, Disability Services does not provide:

            Personal attendant care
            Community-based worker
            Personal Aids and Devices
 
If a student does need a Personal Attendant in the classroom, they must first meet with a Disability Counselor and sign a Personal Attendant Agreement Form. This must be done every semester.
 
The College prohibits unauthorized entry to classrooms, labs and other facilities by non-students. Only students - and their authorized Personal Attendants - are allowed in a classroom.
