Welcome to York Technical College
As President of York Technical College, I want to welcome you to our campus and our region. Our college serves both a suburban and two rural counties. As you will see, we have the unique opportunity to partner with our neighboring metropolitan area as we strive to meet the educational and workforce needs of the region and the states of North and South Carolina.
It is my hope that you will find your visit to Rock Hill and surrounding communities to be one of great benefit as you explore the importance of development resources to colleges. During the past two years, as I have served as president of York Technical College, I have developed a new appreciation for the impact and benefit that resource development plays in strengthening every aspect of the college - programming, educational opportunity, student services, environment, facilities, and overall student success. I have been impressed with the support of the York Technical College Foundation Board and the important role grants play in assisting the college to meet its mission.
It is my expectation that you will find our faculty and staff informative and engaging as we welcome the opportunity to showcase our college.
