Process Review Team
Each year the Process Review Team reviews a critical process, as assigned by the College Cabinet and makes recommendations for enhancement. Previous assignments have been to develop college-wide standards for excellent service (phone, email, and personal service) and to embed those standards into the college culture. As a result, all supervisors are being trained on how to lead the Charge to Service Excellence and are conducting a half-day session for their staff on adopting approved standards for excellent service within their departments.
The next assignment for the Process Review Team is to recommend how to help students benefit best from the advising process. A 12 member team was selected to examine:
- What students most need to know and how they receive information about the advising process;
- What challenges exist and how best to engage students, as well as faculty, in the process.
Recommendations will be made to the College Cabinet in May 2010.
