Cooperative Education (Co-op)
Cooperative Education is an academic class commonly called Co-op, which blends classroom learning with practical work experience. Instead of attending class in a traditional classroom, students work with an employer in a position directly related to their field of study. Co-op is similar to an internship, but students receive academic credit either as an elective or as a required class.
Co-op is available in 43 programs of study at CPCC. Please contact a Coordinator at one of our six campuses for more information.
