2009 JATC ELECTRICAL APPRENTICES GRADUATE
On the evening of Friday, July 17, 2009, ten CPCC/JATC Electrical Apprenticeship graduates were honored at the 2009 JATC Apprenticeship Graduation Ceremonies. The graduation and banquet dinner was well attended by graduates and their families, JATC partners, IBEW representatives, our CPCC instructor and sponsor. The event was held at the 1930’s historic, restored firehouse, the Palmer Building, located at 2601 East 7th Street, Charlotte, N.C.
CAGC Event Honors Electrical Apprenticeship Students
The Carolinas Association of General Contractors (CAGC) held their annual end of semester barbeque June 2nd at their Euclid Avenue headquarters. The evening honored the students in the Electrical Apprenticeship Program at CPCC and celebrated the graduation of 7 students who diligently attended evening classes for 4 years while receiving on-the-job electrical training from their employers. Honors for attendance and scholastics were handed out and students in all levels of the program received an electrical tool kit from the CAGC some of which was graciously donated by industry partners. The event was well attended by Apprenticeship students, company sponsors, CAGC representative and CPCC representatives.
Students Recognized During Electrical Apprenticeship Dinner
CPCC is proud to announce that 16 students were recognized as graduates from the ABC Carolinas Electrical Apprenticeship Program at a dinner held on the evening of Tuesday, May 12th, at Bryon’s South End. Guest Speaker was Cherie Berry, the North Carolina Commissioner of Labor. The event was well attended by 64 guests and CPCC’S proud instructors; Sandra McCarthy, Tim Price, Dennis Rorie, Jonathan Spargo and Jimmy Philemon were among the guests giving kudos to our grads.
