CODE ACADEMY

In January 2016, Mecklenburg County Code Enforcement launched an accelerated program called Building with our Veterans, focused on recruiting and training military veterans who have  building safety experience and construction skills for jobs as code officials. The goal is to meet staffing needs for on-going Mecklenburg County Code Enforcement functions, while providing an opportunity for unemployed and under-employed veterans to find long-term sustainable employment and continue to serve the community. GOODWILL & CPCC's ENTRY-LEVEL CONSTRUCTION SKILLS TRAINING PROGRAM

In 2006, Goodwill Industries of the Southern Piedmont and CPCC formed a partnership to create socio-economic mobility for individuals to build, networks, trade skills, and careers.
