Central Piedmont Community College (CPCC) is proud to partner with Cox-Schepp Construction, Inc., an industry leader in sustainable project construction, to present the Cox-Schepp Construction Academy for high school students.
 
Careers in technical trades, such as construction management and sustainable construction technology, have emerged as one of the country’s greatest industry needs. The Cox-Schepp Construction Academy at CPCC can equip you with the knowledge you need to stand out from the competition, giving you the opportunity to be at the forefront of this growing trend.

Located on CPCC’s Harper Campus, the Cox-Schepp Construction Academy will connect you to construction management careers in growth areas such as sustainable construction technology.

If you’re an aspiring contractor, foreman or assistant superintendent, the Cox-Schepp Construction Academy at CPCC can teach you how to build towards tomorrow’s careers.
 
Benefits
The Cox-Schepp Construction Academy will enable you to prepare for your career while in high school. Earn FREE college credit that can be successfully transferred to a two- or four-year institution. As an academy student, you will:
 
      acquire 17 college credits that can be applied toward CPCC’s Associate in Applied Science (AAS) Construction Management Technology degree
      enjoy a flexible learning schedule interact and learn from real construction professionals
      have the opportunity to visit active construction sites
      acquire CPCC’s Entry Level Construction Supervision certificate
      learn the value and importance of team work, dedication and commitment
 
 
Participating Schools...
Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools (CMS) recognizes this unique dual high school program. Participating schools include: Ardrey Kell, Myers Park, Olympic, Phillip O. Berry, Providence, South Mecklenburg, Waddell and West Mecklenburg. Students at other high schools are eligible to participate as well.
