Workforce Readiness

“Join me in a national commitment to train 2 million Americans with skills that will lead directly to a job.” President Barack Obama said in third State of the Union Address.

President Obama began by commending CPCC for its role as a model of partnerships between industry and education.  In Workforce Readiness programs students are given the opportunity to have just that.

In these programs, human resources, basic skills and job-specific skills are infused into the curriculum.  Students can take courses in our nationally acclaimed short-term training Bridge and Pathways to Careers (formerly Pathways to Employment) programs or, in our Human Resources Development programs.
