AHSD Adult High School Diploma

The Adult High School Diploma (AHSD) program serves adults who wish to earn a diploma granted by the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Board of Education. Students must be 18 years old or older to be admitted into the program. The student must send or deliver to CPCC an official transcript in a sealed envelope from the school last attended.

  • Offers high school courses during both daytime and evening hours for working adults and parents.
  • Provides flexible, skilled, caring teachers.
  • Provides all courses FREE of charge, but students purchase textbook.

Class Schedule

  • Fall and Spring classes meet for two 8 week terms (morning session), and 16 weeks (evening session).
  • Summer classes meet for one 8 week term.
  • Classes meet Monday through Thursday.
  • Class hours are 8:30 AM - 3:00 PM and 5:30 PM - 9:30 PM.
