Student Requirements
Passing the GED® Tests provides an opportunity for you to continue your education. In fact, 95 percent of U.S. colleges and universities accept GED® graduates who meet their other qualifications for admission. About 96 percent of U.S. employers accept the GED® credential as equal to a traditional high school diploma, according to recent studies.
Students must receive a TABE® assessment of 9.0 in reading and math to enroll in GED Preparation classes. If a student scores below this, they will be referred to a Foundational Skills class.
