Foundational Skills

Are you looking for a place to improve your reading, writing and math skills?

The Foundational Skills program offers students an opportunity to learn basic language arts (reading and writing) and math skills.  CPCC offers Language Arts and Math, as well as Compensatory Education, classes for adult learners working on these skills.

After completing all four Foundational Skills levels students will be prepared for entry into the GED Programs, Adult High School, and/or Short-Term Training programs.

Throughout these courses students are given the opportunity to improve their self-esteem, to learn the skills needed to get a better job and to help their children with their reading, writing and math skills.
