The Corporate Learning Center at Central Piedmont Community College focuses on a single purpose: To help your business succeed.
The College offers an experienced team of advisors from diverse backgrounds, with industry knowledge and a commitment to learning as a means to achieve results. Using a team-based approach, we leverage the capacity of the entire College as well as state and federal funding initiatives.

Mary Vickers-Koch is the dean of the Harris Campus and Business and Industry Learning at CPCC. She leads the continuing education programs that include leadership, management, professional development, computer, financial services, small business and entrepreneurship, economic development programs, and the Corporate Learning Center. Mary is a graduate of the University of South Carolina and holds an MBA from the Babcock School, Wake Forest University and is a past recipient of the “Women of Distinction” Award, awarded by Business Leader Media. |
| Michelle Miller is the executive director of Corporate Learning and Economic Recruitment. She leads the teams that connect business and industry to the training resources of the college. Michelle is a graduate of West Virginia University-Parkersburg with a degree in business administration. | |

Bill Dillon is an associate dean with extensive experience in plant operations and management. He focuses on programs in process improvement, financial services and computer technology. Bill holds an MBA from Xavier University in Cincinnati, Ohio. |

Dr. Dana McDonald is an executive director focusing on workplace learning and CPCC's Re-Careering Services Center on Harris Campus. She is a graduate of Wake Forest University and holds a Ph.D. in industrial and organizational psychology from the University of Maryland. |

Mona Rabon works with training partners and directs programming for broad learning areas, including management, leadership, process improvement, human resources and personal enrichment. She is a graduate of the University of North Carolina at Charlotte and holds a master's degree in education. |

Gary Klipp was the principle author, developer and instructional designer of The Quality Group’s (TQG) Lean Six Sigma e-Learning curriculum. He has partnered with CPCC and other community colleges to offer a blended e-learning Six Sigma certification curriculum that uniquely integrates exceptional frontline process improvement and consulting expertise with curriculum development skills. Gary has an MS in Operations Research and Statistics from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute and both a BS and MS in Mathematics and Computer Science from SUNY at Albany, N.Y. Gary is also a certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt. |

Gary Schmitz brings with him years of systems and management experience, obtained primarily through working in the corporate environs of large New York banks. At CPCC, he teaches a variety of project management and business analysis classes. He has consulted and taught for a number of organizations throughout the United States, Latin America, Asia, Europe and Canada and is also a Project Management Professional, PMP, as certified by the Project Management Institute, PMI®. |
| Bob Olson has more than 30 years of practical experience in process improvement techniques such as Lean, Six Sigma, statistics and problem solving. Since 1999, he has been successfully consulting and training various manufacturing and service professionals in more than 60 clients’ facilities. Bob earned a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering and is a certified Lean Six Sigma Master Black Belt. He is a registered Professional Engineer (PE) in North and South Carolina and is active in his local ASQ section. |
