CPCC Presents Resources for Changing Times

Central Piedmont Community College’s (CPCC) Harris Conference Center, together with the City of Charlotte, the Workforce Development Board and the Employment Security Commission, is pleased to bring “Resources for Changing Times” to the Charlotte market on March 16, at CPCC’s Harris Campus from 9 a.m. – 6 p.m.

If you are a working professional that is currently unemployed or at-risk of losing your job, CPCC invites you to attend “Resources for Changing Times.” This signature event will educate you on today’s employment outlook, connecting you to the local and college resources you need to achieve personal and professional success.

During the event, individuals may attend an array of “how-to” workshops focused on a variety of subjects, such as interviewing skills, financial management, coping with job loss and starting a new business. Representatives from the Department of Social Services, City of Charlotte, the Workforce Development Board, United Family Services, the Employment Security Commission and military recruiters will also be on-site to help participants discover new opportunities and provide access to community resources. Rowan-Cabarrus Community College, UNC-Charlotte, Johnson C. Smith University, Queens University of Charlotte and Pfeiffer University have confirmed their participation and representatives from CPCC will be on hand to provide information about our programs and services.
