Summer Bridge Program - Brighter Futures Track
The Brighter Futures track of CPCC’s Summer Bridge Program will help you successfully transition to college in a closed, structured and supervised environment. You will become more aware of what is expected of you in college and what will be expected of you in the real world. The Brighter Futures track will help prepare you to enroll in CPCC’s IT and Engineering Technologies programs. Best of all, you'll receive free tuition and fees if you are selected to participate in the program! To apply, please fill out our brief online application.
The Summer Bridge Program is a six-week program in which you are enrolled in classes based on your performance on a placement test given at CPCC. In addition to classes in English, study skills, math and computer technology, you will participate in other activities designed to build academic skills and create a sense of community.
Courses are offered Monday through Thursday for six weeks, and will require assignments to be completed outside of class. Enrichment activities and independent or group study will also be part of the program. If you successfully complete the Summer Bridge Program, you can earn up to six hours of college credit.
